Children

Here at True Life, we strive to provide a safe and exciting environment for your children to learn about Jesus. 

The sermon can be heard from the nursery, and we teach appropriate level Bible lessons for Preschool to Elementary students. Our classes run from 10:00 am and end when service ends. You can find our classes by going to the right after entering our building. The check-in station is in front of the hallway where our classrooms are located. We will be glad to give you a tour of our children’s wing, but we ask that you do so with a staff member.

The safety of the children entrusted to us at True Life is very important to us. All children are checked in using Planning Center. Planning Center provides peace of mind while you are enjoying the sermon. Planning Center labels provide the teaching staff with information to keep your child safe while in our care. Please try to arrive 10-15 minutes early so we can help you register your children. Children will be picked up at the front of the children’s wing, where our trained staff will meet you. If you need to pick up your children before the end of service, please text Angie Mckibben at 513-479-1460.

We are always happy to accept new volunteers in our children’s ministry department. We require all potential volunteers to go through an application process and background check. If you are interested in serving in any area of our children’s department, please contact Angie Mckibben, and she will help you to get the process started.

Nursery / Preschool

Infants from birth until they are potty trained will join us in the Itty Bittyz room, where there will be adults and toys to keep them safe and entertained during the worship service.

Once a child advances from the Itty Bittyz room, they will join us in the Lil’ Guyz room until age five or are in kindergarten. They will experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. Join the fun and experience a world where kids meet Jesus on their level!

TLC Big Kidz is True Life Christian Church’s children’s ministry for Kindergarten through Grade 6, offered during the weekend service. We are strong Believers In God, and we are Faithful In Serving Him. We believe the best way to prepare kids for their future is to partner with parents. Why? Because developing kids to stand firm and have faith that sticks depends on this partnership. We strongly encourage our parents to be involved in their child’s growth in their faith.

Parents can expect a place where their children will learn to believe in God. They will begin learning what it means to be a Christian. These important lessons are taught through a curriculum that encourages children to trust in what the Bible says and learn that what the Bible says is true. Our curriculum offers a guide for the children to use at home to help them grow in their relationship with God and with their families.

Rainforest Falls VBS @ TLC

Step through the mist into Rainforest Falls, overflowing with wild waterfalls, towering trees and colorful creatures. Beneath a canopy of chattering birds and howling monkeys, kids plunge into a life-long adventure, discovering the nature of God, and exploring what it means to be rooted in relationship with their creator, a safe place in life’s storms.
